Cognitive Consulting recently established its new headquarters in the SONO district, Norwalk’s historic area. Our team was tasked with converting two raw floors of a multi-story commercial building into a modern and highly adaptable office space. Our design approach prioritized an open studio floor plan that encourages constant communication and collaboration among the employees. The office features open workstations, flexible seating arrangements, and private offices to cater to different work styles. The exposed ceilings and polished concrete floors are complemented by functional and comfortable office furniture. A new sculptural staircase connects both levels and enhances the circulation, while a new roof deck provides stunning views of the Long Island sound. The integrated design approach achieves a clean and comfortable aesthetic that elevates the company’s identity and brings a sense of professionalism to the entire office.
